How To Win Cash
Publish a new automotive how-to or article on Howtune.com before December 6, 2015. The following week our judges will rate the articles using the following points system:

Definitions
- Complexity: Get more points for tackling harder problems. We know a complex how-to takes more work, so the more complex the task - the more points you get.
- Quality: Writing style, spelling, sentence structure. They're all important! Write a smart, appealing, and clear article, and you'll reap the rewards.
- Detail: The devil is in the details. Score points for adding details like bolt sizes, part numbers, torque ratings, photos, and image annotations that help point out the important stuff.
- Popularity: Sharing will help us see how useful it is to other car owners. The more unique human visitors your article gets per day, the more points you get.
- Bonus: By writing 3 or more complete articles, you'll unlock a few bonus points that may give you the edge.
We'll contact our winners on December 13th by email. Remember to keep tabs on your inbox that day!
Contest Additional Terms & Conditions
The time period for submissions for the HowTune Garage King Contest ("contest") end December 6th at 11:59 pm EST. Any article published for the first time between October 25th at 0:01 am EST and December 6th 11:59 pm EST are automatically submitted as an entry. To be eligible, the article must be in a published state at the closing time, and remain published unless removed by HowTune. Articles that violate these constraints are not considered valid entries for the contest.
Contest winners will be selected by HowTune using the criteria as described in "How To Win Cash" above. Winners will be notified by email on December 13th. No HowTune employees or family members are eligible to participate in the contest. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the contest. If winners cannot be contacted or do not claim their prize within 7 days of notification we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. By entering the contest entrants are indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
